Most contractors want the large jobs and most times would not even want to give quotes. I set up a meeting with Dustin at his shop. He walked me through the manufacturing area and explained the process, materials he used and showed me some of his projects in different stages. I have done similar laminate projects, so I could tell his process was professional. The trust came after the first install. The communication was very good (sometimes that is rare these days), the team that was sent out was very good. The timeline was met. Any punch items were performed without question. As I stated before, it is hard to find contractors that want to do the smaller jobs. Your team members are the same over the years and projects. It is nice to be able to deal with the same people who know us and understand our needs and are willing to meet them. From the site meetings to get measurements, to the delivery and install, everyone has been accommodating. This will be the third year in a row that I have had projects contracted by your team. Component Work & Contract Manufacture
If you’re in need of a high-volume of component parts, we are here to help. Not only can we help with component design, we also serve as a high-volume original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for many clients. We’ve manufactured CNC carved bench ends, created custom newel posts and balusters for a home builder and have supplied flooring contractors with custom stair treads and nosing.
"I needed to taper 1/16" ash veneer to half thickness along its length. I used the tapered veneer to create a sculptural chair.I have used Growth Ring in the past to taper veneer. Dustin's team consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the process goes perfectly. Tapering is a rather unusual use of the wide belt sander but they have always been open minded and accommodating.The first time I tapered veneer at Growth Ring the jig I had built was very inefficient and required constant monitoring. Jared stayed with me the entire time and helped troubleshoot the jig. I was extremely impressed by his dedication and attention to detail.The wide belt sander at Growth Ring is one of the best maintained in Denver. I have used wide belt sanders in several other cabinet shops and never had a comparable experience.The noisy bustling shop can be rather intimidating at first but Dustin's team are all very kind and approachable.The chair I made from the tapered veneer now belongs in the permanent collection at the Denver Art Museum.
